Would you refuse sex if you noticed a lump or small bump on your partners junk?

I think it depends on how long you've been with your partner and what the symptoms are. The groin area is subject to sebaceous cysts, which are harmless and not contageous whatsoever. Of course, there are a million other possibilities. You just have to go with your gut. If you're simply not sure, play it safe and encourage your partner to see the doc so you both have answers!

Like Arch said, it depends on the situation. I know that my boyfriend and I are STI free, so I don't worry about it. A few weeks ago he got a pimple near the base of his penis and it didn't stop me from having sex with him. I get the occasional ingrown hair in that area, too.

I'm in a monogamous relationship - so the occasional bump isn't a source of concern. We talk about it to make sure it's not something serious.

Like Gunsmoke, since we're both monogamous it would make me not want to have sex... And go to the physicians immediately! It could be a tumor or something like that, and I wouldn't be able to enjoy intercourse with that in the back of my mind.

I'd want it checked out.

My husband and are a monogamous, so my only concern would be if it pained him or if it looked infected or inflamed. Otherwise, bumps and lumps on the skin come and go, and they're not really cause for alarm.

Also, if it is something contagious, you both probably have it. So cutting off sex without it causing any pain doesn't really make a lot of sense.
