Period Question.

Is it true that having sex on your period would end it faster?
I read it somewhere, and I'm curious if it is true?

Orgasms makes me bleed more but in the end I just spot for the rest of it. Sometimes the effect is really noticeable and once it freaked me out. I use a small menstrual cup and emptying it once per hour for three hours made me think I was bleeding out. When I connected the dots I calmed down and went to sleep.

I have not noticed any difference in my flow personally when we have sex during my period.

If I recall, it's because having an orgasm makes your uterine muscles contract. This will push out more menstrual fluid.

The only difference I've noticed is that it can help with cramps.

Orgasms help with my cramps, but I've not really noticed that they shorten the period overall.

I have tried orgasms to speed the process up, but that doesn't make any difference to me.
It's a damn pitty too, cause I ALWAYS seem to have a nice toy package arriving right in the middle of a period. Drives me nuts....lol.

But I agree, it definitely eases my cramps - it's my favourite cure...hehe.

Orgasm HELPS your cramps? For me if I even in cum in the few days before my period, I get horrible cramps from it.

No. I highly doubt it. It's never helped me end mine at all. I don't think it's possible. Sex won't stop the tissue from shedding from the uterus. I have heard it eases menstrual symptoms for some, but it doesn't for people like me who have problems like endometriosis. It's like a very painful curse! But I sure would like it if I could benefit from it. I hate when I read things like that that really aren't true. That sucks to lead someone the wrong way like that, but mags do it all the time.

It just helps me with cramps, not ending it sooner
