Pain During Orgasm, Bleeding Daily for Over Two Months, and Painful Lower Stomach

Contributor: eroticmutt eroticmutt
Hello, I don't know what to do and currently my doctor is waiting on the results of blood work as they don't know what's wrong with me.

They have tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia as well as pregnancy and none of those are the problem. For STDs they tested me both vaginally and anally, and that is not it. So far they've only palpated my abdomen externally and couldn't feel anything, so next time I am going to have a pelvic exam.

The pain is off and on, every single day, although in the beginning it was not every single day- it used to be about 50/50. It is ALWAYS painful when I have an orgasm, and the pain can last from a few minutes to a few hours if I didn't take a pain reliever. Only Naproxen will work. Not tylenol, advil, or ibuprofen.

The bleeding is light and I can wear a single tampon all day when I am out (when I am at home I just go to the bathroom roughly every hour or two and wipe as I know overusing tampons or keeping them in long is bad for you.

Also my stomach hurts badly when I wear boxers (I don't wear 'regular' underwear) or any pants with a higher waist, so I wear my pants at or right below my hip bones because that doesn't cause me pain and they're loose fitting as well.

I also have to keep the seatbelt pulled away from my waist in the car because if it's normal tightness touching me, that hurts after a few minutes as well.

If anyone has an idea what this could be then please let me know. Also, how would one get a low-cost hysterectomy with removal of the ovaries? Because the pain is sexual as well as persistent and intensifies with orgasm I know it's an issue with my reproductive organs, but I don't think my insurance will cover the surgery.

The actual anesthesia fee for a procedure like that is under 1,000$ and surgeon fee is less than 3,000$ so I COULD save up money except that a hospital fee is about 5,000-15,000$ for use of their facilities and I can't afford that.

I either need to know of a surgeon/gynecologist who would do that 'in office' or a teaching hospital which would have a lower cost. Any advice on how to go about that would be greatly appreciated!!

P.S. I am a transsexual man, meaning I have a male license and live as any other man does, but still have female reproductive parts. Therefore I will happily get rid of the extra organs that will never be used for reproduction and are basically just sitting there as a target for disease including cancer.

This also means that a hormonal solution is NOT an option, because it would be feminizing and not eliminate the underlying problem, it would only mask it while doing other unpleasant things to my body.

I would take an estrogen-blocker if that might help, but I don't know if it would.

What do you do during your paid vacation time?
I have a week of paid vacation next week, and I realized I will not really be vacationing. Still fun, but what does everyone else do?

Are you totally ignoring the Presidential Election Process? If so, WHY?
Young people were very involved in the last Presidential election process, and appeared in droves for Obama. Now, apparently, there is FAR, FAR less..

I ended up going to the Gyni today to find out what was going on with me.. She believes that I have a cyst on my left ovary, and if I have been...

Considering the risk associated with toys rated 6 lower on the Eden safety scale, do you think that EF is moving AWAY from those types of toys?
I am a toy material snob. After reading horror stories about some safety risks associated with different types of toys not only do I only buy things..

You have not yet had a pelvic exam, correct? I would definitely insist on having an ultrasound of your ovaries and uterus done, to check for the presence of polyps or scar tissue - either could cause abdominal pain, as well as the bleeding you described.

(I had a uterine polyp that was removed at the end of May; while it did not cause abdominal pain, it did cause very painful periods, super-heavy bleeding, more frequent periods, and a lot of break-through bleeding. I have heard of polyps also causing abdominal pain, depending on where they're located and how big they are.)

Thank you, I will definitely ask about the ultrasound. I didn't have a pelvic exam yet because I saw a walk-in nurse instead of my normal doctor because I made an emergency appointment. It's at a cheap health clinic, so next thursday (about a week from today) I will see my doctor and if they don't have ultrasounds I will be sure to have them write me a referral so I can go get one done.

My mum gets really nasty ovarian cysts, and that sounds almost IDENTICAL to what she had. You can't feel them because they're teeny tiny, but they cause a heck of a lot of pain. Have you ever had ovulation pain before? Does it seem to be in the same area?

Wow, I can't imaging having to go through so much pain for a body part you don't even fell like you were 'supposed to have' in the first place. My heart goes out to you, and I hope you get the results back soon!

Ask for a transvaginal ultrasound to check for cysts, etc... I just had a hysterectomy 2 days ago and lost an ovary too. I suffered from endometrisis and very painful cycles for years but was not diagnosed until 2 years ago with the endo. My uterus was also the size of a 10 week pregnancy. The Dr. said that my endometriosis had grown back and matted the left ovary to my intestines, so it was time for it all to come out. Please don't delay, get check out MORE THOROUGHLY as soon as you can. Best of luck!

I hope you feel better.

Ultrasound only goes so far. Many issues that plague female organs are made of the same density of the uterus itself, so they don't show up on ultrasounds. Endometriosis is a serious condition that causes "implants" or overgrowths of endometrial tissue on the uterus, ovaries and even on the intestines and lining of the abdominal wall. These implants CANNOT be seen with ultrasound. The only way to see them is with an endoscopic procedure. (This is a surgical procedure which may also result in the implants being removed.)

The nurse was very negligent to NOT do a pelvic. It is necessary when you are having these types of symptoms.

I would ONLY let an MD deal with you from now on. Let the MD who specializes in GYN issues deal with this.

I hope things get better for you.

Thursday an MD at a clinic will see me. If they cannot help me then next week I will go to a regular gynecologist because they should definitely have ultrasound and anything else they need to check me over.

I found out that my Nana had a hysterectomy due to cancer and my aunt had one too because her ovaries were scarred up and she had cysts and all that.

Does anyone know which fees must be paid before surgery? I think surgeon and anesthesia and hospital bill comes later. If thats the case I can afford it soon (no insurance).

I already paid for top surgery (breast removal) so I MUST get that done or I lose 4,200 $ and its scheduled in October. I want laproscopic total abdominal hysterectomy cuz I will heal better than having them do the big incision (and be able to work out my abs again without that high risk of hernia.) I don't know how close two surgeries can be. How long AFTER top surgery could I have the second surgery? Or how EARLY would I need the hysterectomy to still wait 'long enough' for top surgery (if there even is a wait?)
