Odd experience with a vibrator

Contributor: spicywife spicywife
The first vibrator I purchased/used was in college. It was one of those pointy vibrators made out of hard rigid plastic. I didn't like it but at the time I didn't know of a better option. It didn't get much use and I never bought another one, until recently. I purchased one made of silicone that looked pleasant and pretty soft.

The first downside was that the vibrations were way too strong and you had to push the button repeatedly to cycle through (like 5-7 settings) to turn it off. I used it to stimulate the clit and I used it inside for thrusting. When I orgasmed, it was inside and I seemed to feel contractions everywhere... My uterus contracted and it kept contracting for about 15-20 minutes. It didn't hurt but it scared me. I've never experienced anything like that. Was it because of the vibrations? Any ideas? I would appreciate any ideas/suggestions that you may have.

That was several months ago and I've been too scared to try it again!!

Recommendations Needed for Waterproof Shower Toy
Although I enjoy my shower head, I would love to have a handy toy for my shower. Lately as I shower, I just keep wishing I had something. But what?..

Convincing women to watch adult videos is not easy.
I found some of the videos on link to be better videos than the many of the ones that just get strait to the point. It's harder enough to get women to

placement
it kept sliding to the side?????

Male Impotence Partner Frustration
I have a partner/husband suffering from low testosterone/cannot maintain an errection long enough to even penetrate, causing frustration for both of..

Recommend a gentle, rumbly vibe~
So, what with Black Friday/Cyber Monday coming up, I am looking to get myself at least one nice clitoral vibrator. Ideally, I'd like to have one...

That's one of the best things of orgasming around something, is that you can feel your muscle contractions SO much better. I love when I cum and the toy in me twitches or whatnot cause of the contractions.

Though, I've never had such prolonged contractions, it would probably make me play more.

One reason it unnerved me is because it felt like afterbirth contractions, which I can't really describe.. it just felt like my uterus was contracting lightly, which is basically what they call "after birth" contractions. They don't cause harm and it's actually good for the body. But my daughter is 2 now, so I was really confused as to what was going on... The only difference was the vibrator and it hasn't happened since (with other means like intercourse with my husband, etc).

I had that same experience when I was pregnant. My orgasms, regardless of how they were achieved, always produced uterine contractions, which was quite unnerving at first. They are very intense, not painful, not unpleasant, but so strong. Not strong in a "this is the best orgasm of my life" way, but almost like a leg cramp, without the pain.

I've only hand this type of orgasm a handful of times since them, but usually when I go for several days without orgasm and usually with a strong vibrator. I suspect they are probably functionally similar to after birth contractions, but I don't think they would be harmful. I'd say if you are worried at all, talk to an OB/GYN, but since the uterus is a muscle you could just think of it as exercise.

Thanks for the information. I'm also breastfeeding, which I wonder if that could play a role too because of the added hormones. I thought about bringing it up at my next appointment with my doctor. I bet she's heard stranger stories, at least I hope she has!

Don't forget breast feeding does help shrink the uterus. So maybe it's a combination of both factors. How old is your little one?

She's 2. We are practicing attachment parenting and child-led weaning. She has severe allergies too, so for quite some time she was only able to tolerate breastmilk but she's able to eat a wide variety of foods now. We just know the ones that she absolutely can't have (nuts, etc).
