I am married (newlywed) and I just use pills. However, we do have condoms in the house and have used them before. Mainly when I was on anti-biotics because they interfered with my pills.

No. I figure I'm pretty safe with the implant as it has the lowest failure rate. I'm monogamous, so I don't really have to worry about STIs.
