I take lots of ibuprofin for menstural pain. I feel it works pretty good if taken before real pain sets in. What do you take?

Nothing OTC helps me sadly enough I have to take prescription pain pills.

HA. This is true.

I usually take Midol or Pamprin. Both work about equally well.

I find that Aleve (naproxen sodium) works the best for me. About 100% better than Motrin (ibuprofen) Midol or Pamprin, all which do nothing for my cramps.

This is VERY true. I smoke it when I have a headache with IBS and cramps that you wouldn't believe. It helps me forget, makes me feel better, and helps my stomach calm down. It also helps with the mood swings. I smoke more when I having some bad PMS. I have to it's the only thing that works for me.

Over the counter stuff like Midol, Ibuprofen, and the like all give me heartburn and don't last long. Plus the heartburn makes me burp and it tastes like pills. I can't stomach that.

I don't have severe or regular cramping but when I do, Aleve works best for me, too.

My husband and I have both found for muscle pain, cramps, etc. it works better for us than any other OTC product.

Just Advil, if I take anything at all. Aleve gives me a terrible stomach ache every time I try it.
