Hey everyone. Did anyone know Lelo recently started making a menstrual cup (The lily cup)? I think it would be great if Edens carried it, since they carry their toys. Has anyone tried the Lelo cup? It's shaped different from other cups.

I would like to give it a try. I hope they do carry it.

It was in Eden Should Carry a while back. I might try it if EF starts to carry it.
06/10/2013
It's already been said that Eden won't carry it because, if I remember correctly, it isn't FDA approved.

You mean like the Diva or Moon cup? I've never used those before so I wouldn't get it. I'll just stick with pads. Plus in a dorm setting it would be weird to wash that out in the communal sink or having to borrow pans to boil water and sterilize it.

Yes, it's called the lelo lily cup and is part of Lelo's sister company/line INTIMINA. I wrote some thoughts on this in a previous post. There are not much information on others thoughts of the Lily, but it is finally available in to buy in the US.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say no.

But the Lily Cup isn't considered a sex toy, which is unregulated. It's a "feminine hygiene" product.

I have the Diva cup and when it's my time (which is rarely) it really does work. The lily is suppose to be good for 12 hours when is a LOT better than the Diva that I have.

thats strage to me. almost all menstrual cups, including disposable cups, are safe to wear for up to 12 hours at a time. The only variable is how heavy your flow may be, which can fill a cup faster than others would.

Oh neat. I don't think I knew. I don't have menstrual cycles, so I wouldn't buy it even if EF did carry it, but I'm sure there are plenty of other girls here who might.

I don't think anything sold here is FDA approved! Lol. Actually, I'm sure a few things are, but not many.

It looks cool, but from what I could find, it looks like it goes for about $40. I've tried two cups so far, both for under $30, so I don't think I'll be getting Lelo's.

that's a neat design! I will probably stay with my Diva cup though, because it's tried and true

I thought It was really neat on their site. And they sold all this other stuff for "that time of the month". I started using softcup last month and am about to get a naturcup. I keep reading all this scary stuff on tampons but I hate pads. The lily cup looks so much different then other cups.

The Lily Cup is definitely more attractive but I really do love my Diva Cup. I haven't had any problems with it.

I don't get menstrual periods anyways being on the Depo Shot so I probably would not get it. When I do clean out my system I just use pads or OB's because I can't stand tampons.

I would certainly buy it here if I could! I'd much rather give EF my business than a Chinese store!
06/11/2013
I like my mooncup, I don't think I would really feel motivated to switch.

I explored the website and noticed they had vibrators. They are shaped just like LELO's and PicoBong's. I get why they did the battery powered styles in PicoBong, but why do they need a third company with the same vibes?

I'd like to try the Lily Cup. It looks like it's easy to use.
06/11/2013
sounds like a great idea- I wouldn't be able to make use of it, though.

I was interested, but the site says it's pure silicone then states: Do not use vinegar, harsh cleaners, petroleum-based substances, tea-tree oil, alcohol, or bleach to clean your Lily Cup™. All of those things are safe to put on pure silicone, I wouldn't recommend tea tree oil just because, undiluted, if some stayed on the cup it could cause adverse reactions to skin, but all the others are totally safe.
As for why they're reselling the same toys with a new name? Obviously they think new colors and packaging will win over new customers.

It looks neat, but I'd probably rather EF carry the Diva Cup since I know that works well and is durable.

actually i believe it's just because it is a european collection, geared toward women's heath more than sexual health (but is why all the products are a shade of pink), while pico bong is an americanized collection for sexual health.

I've gotten those same warnings on silicone toys I've bought. I guess they just think it's risky?
