Is it possible for your vagina to be too short for exercisers?

Contributor: HB042 HB042
I've tried a few different sets of exercisers over the years, but I've never found one that is comfortable. The Ophoria K Balls are the last set I've purchased, and I bump my cervix with them when I feel like they are inserted far enough. What gives? Am I doing something wrong, or is it just my anatomy?

It could be your anatomy. Some women have shorter vaginas than others. Mine was shortened due to removal of my cervix, which makes it nearly impossible for me to find a rabbit vibe that actually fits, among other toys. You can stretch it out gradually, however it is pretty painful and in my experience, does not add actual length as much as it did a bit more girth. And then it was only pre-orgasm...as in seconds prior to orgasming. So, that was a waste of my time and pain tolerance, lol.

I'm pretty OK with this shortness, to be honest I'd love to find an exerciser that would work for me though. Think I'd be best looking at the one-ball type?

This is what I was going to suggest. Maybe trying out the Teneo Uno or Ben Wa balls instead.

I have much the same problem. I love thin, short toys (the Tantus Theta is perfect for me) so a lot of the larger exercisers are WAY too large for me. I second the Teneo Uno but would like to add in the Emigi. It's small and comfortable, and it comes in a variety of colors.

I looked at the Emigi, but it seemed like I might encounter the same problem. I went ahead and purchased the shorter Teneo Uno today, (being on sale helped with that decision too) and we'll see how it goes! I'm excited to get it.

Well I just received it. I haven't tried it yet, but in reading the literature, it states that the Uno is "suitable for beginners or for women with a dropped or tilted uterus"... annnd I happen to have a tilted uterus. I wonder if that might have been the problem all along! I will definitely note this in a review. It's great information to have!

I was having such a struggle, and I was SO CONFUSED. The Teneo Uno fits well. I wish this was more common knowledge

I am glad that the Teneo Uno worked well for you. The tilted uterus does cause many problems for ladies. I hope that you are able to enjoy this toy, and many more, now that you have found out why you were having such problems.

It actually does answer a lot of questions.

Also, when you are using a two ball system, you don't insert BOTH balls completely. The first ball is lubed and then inserted so that it "pops" into place behind the muscle you would use to hold in a tampon, then the second ball should be in part way. Just enough to hold the vaginal lips open a little. Then the double ball system will work with your PC muscles the best way.

Also, all women experience their vagina lengthening when aroused. This can facilitate using exercise balls, too.

I just couldn't get the two ball types in a place where I didn't feel like it was just going to come out, or that the sensation was just too irritating. For what it's worth, I've never been able to comfortably use tampons either.

My body is weird
