Not better, but different. It goes through stages and phases. When they are babies we obviously slowed down some out of pure exhaustion. But as they got older it got easier and more frequent. Now as they are getting to pre-pubescent age and more aware of what's going on when the door is locked, we've gotten more creative about our daytime rendezvous.
If you are asking if the "feel" of sex was better, it never felt different to me and my husband says the same.

No. Ours are now 20 and 16 so it's been a long time. We are looking forward to empty house. The physical never changed. Mentally and emotionally it's better today than when they were younger.

Ive got two young children and its changed just because more of our time is taken up by our children so we have to spend less time doing other things. But that's what you sign up for when you have kids and we really love them.

I'm with you there! My son is also 16, but he'll probably be around for quite a while.
