I need help naturally balancing my PH!

Contributor: levellc09 levellc09
Since being pregnant I have noticed my vaginal PH changed a lot. My discharge is greyish and runny and not pleasant to smell. Its not fishy or anything just very strong and there is a lot of it thru out the day. It doesn't itch or anything but its very annoying. I have been tested 2x this year for STDs and STIs so its not any of those.

Is there any way to balance my PH naturally?

I read somewhere that drinking alkaline water will counter the acid level of my vagina and balance it. Could this be true? I also read that probiotics help. Which ones actually work?

I've just started taking Accuflora this week, as suggested to me in this thread. It may help with that.

Drinking more water in general should help a lot. Some of us need more than the suggested amount per day to keep hydrated and keep our body functioning properly and keep balanced. I don't know about how probiotics specifically affect pH, but I think that would help as well (with many, many things in addition to that!) I take probiotics and it does make me feel so much more balanced as a whole.
