Hymen pain help?

Contributor: Meido Meido
Google is not being my friend so I thought I'd try to ask for some input here. The deal is that these past few weeks vaginal sex has been painful because I believe my hymen is getting "pulled" and rubbed on too much during insertion/movement. Obviously I still have my hymen after having sex with an average-sized partner and I've used bigger dildos before losing my virginity about mid-October to him. It's stretched but still apparently indestructible. The pain did not happen for about a month and a half while having sex, and it's possible it could have gotten pulled too hard and hasn't recovered. In the mean time, I can painlessly fit 1 or 2 of his fingers in me, but not anything bigger because the stretching is apparently very painful now. Should I just continue to wait this out until there's no more pain or try and ease back into it so the hymen may stretch more? See a doctor? Open to suggestions.

tl;dr My hymen is hurting during sex after having intercourse for over a month with no previous problems (we always use lube). Does anyone else have this kind of "elastic" and invincible hymen or have any safe ideas about what to do?
Thanks for reading

Honestly, most of us never "lose" our hymen entirely and it's usually only really torn when handled too roughly. Try having him use his fingers and lube and gently stretch you in a circular motion Definitely back off until you can have sex painlessly again. Be really gentle, go slow, plenty of foreplay and lube and stretching before intercourse. It is possible that you have a tear or over stretching that needs to heal.

Honestly, this sounds like a gynecologist kind of question. If you don't have one yet, definitely get one. I love mine. I can ask her anything.
