How long do I wait before waxing again?

Contributor: sweetpea12 sweetpea12
I just waxed my downstairs for the first time. And it's been almost two and a half weeks and hairs are starting to grow back. It's getting itchy and I really want to get it waxed again soon, how long do I have to wait to get it waxed again??? And waiting for the hair to grow back is kind of defeating the purpose.

I don't know if there is a specific TIME that is REQUIRED but usually I just go as soon as they are long enough for the wax to stick to them (or did, when I used to wax). Mine grew back pretty quickly, though, one of the techs said so I was going back every 2-3 weeks! I know a lot of girls who go a month or so. I'm not sure if that's because they were told to, prefer to, or they just don't have a lot of growth.

Hopefully you'll get a more clear answer

You can wax again when the new growth is at least 1/4 inch long, so the wax is able to grab onto the hair. You can use a facial buff made of loofah to exfoliate between waxings, it helps relieve some of that itching, which is usually caused by new growth trying to push out from under the skin.
