I think it's a great idea that it carries the lowest amount of hormones, but the fact that something is IN your pussy 24/7 is kinda weird. And it can be felt by your partner, not much, but a little. I don't mean to scare anyone off because it's dependant on the person, but it had caused DVT to a girl I've known. What's your experience?
Have you ever used NuvaRing?

Yes and I loved it. I recommend it all the time to people. I had no problems with it whatsoever.

I really like it....I've had no problems except that when I first started using it I was really nauseated but that wore off within a day

No I never have.

I used for a long time and loved it. I highly recommend it!

I have the NuvaRing.
You don't feel it yourself at all, unless it starts to slip out (which is easily fixed).
My partner felt it the first time we had sex together and was totally surprised it. In a good way. He said it felt like something "high-fiving" his penis.
I've never had any issues with it. No irritation, no infections related to it, no issues with side effects reaaally.
Because it has low hormones, it doesn't help my hormonally caused acne. With every oral pill I tried, I'd get crazy debilitating migraines every time I started taking the placebo pills. With nuvaring, I don't get them.

Yes- Love it! I'll never use another form of birth control (until I have kids and can use an IUD). It's fabulous!

I've been thinking about trying it lately. I usually take my pills perfectly but the last week or so I've been really bad about it and thinking maybe another option would be better for me.

I didn't like the Nuvaring... I could feel it... that and I have discovered that I just plain out dont like hormonal BC..

Yes, it was super easy to use and was my favorite birth control. I never noticed it and mine never came out.

I used it for a month, and it caused me so much abdominal pain, I had to remove it. I didn't like it at all. As far as my hubby feeling it, it made me so sick, we never even got to give it a test run!

I love my Nuvaring. Been on it for about 5 months now and it has caused nothing but good side effects for me. I used to be incapacitated by cramps every time I got my period (which used to last as long as 9 days). I no longer have any cramps and my periods only last 4 days now. My skin is clearer, my mood swings are gone, and its significantly harder for me to get pregnant now. I don't mind having the ring in at all. Its not intrusive, I can't feel it at all, my partner can barely feel it during sex, its literally changed my life its been so beneficial to me. My libido is still as ridiculously high as its always been too.

Deep Venous Thrombosis. It can occur under any birth control. Its when you get a blood clot that blocks a vein. This is why women who have a history of blood clots are not supposed to use hormones at all.
