I'm considering booking an appointment. There is a local service that will do it for $50 and that applies to the purchase of a bra, which I think is a great deal. Has anyone else done it, and what did you think? Thanks.
Has anyone had a professional bra fitting?

I've has VS bra fittings hahaha! If you catch them on a slow day they'll try on different bras and look at the fit until you find one that looks and feels good. I've never gone anywhere more upscale, though.

No, but I want to go to Georgia and visit the Double Diva girls, they are so funny! I love that show.

I have at a little boutique that I like to visit when I'm in the area. I was seriously wearing the very wrong size before that. If you get the opportunity to have it done with someone who knows what they're doing, I highly suggest it.

At Victoria's Secret.

Agreeing with SneakersAndPearls up above, I personally find boutiques to be really nice about it. I go to one that's been around for 50 years and the fittings come as part of the store service. Basically, you walk in and you sign your name down and get a free fitting, even if you don't find anything you want to buy.
It's very comfortable and they're very considerate and kind. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion or ask for new things. You won't believe what a good fitting bra will do for your body or your self-confidence.

Most upscale intimate apparel retailers offer the service for free. $50 seems very high for a fitting. I guess it depends on what kind of bra choices you get for the credit towards a bra on if it is a good deal. If you were going to buy a bra there for $50 anyway then it wouldn't make much difference.

I never have. I took my own measurements and haven't had any problems selecting the right bra size so I don't really feel that it's necessary.

I had it done was wearing the wrong bra size but it was a free fitting.

I never have. I think I've got my size down pat!

I own a lingerie shop and do fittings. I would highly recommend it. Many women come into the shop believing they are a D and bras are uncomfortable but leave in a F. For some, it helps with breast soreness and/or back pain. I have seen many women who appear to have lost 30 lbs just by getting a proper fitting bra. It is worth it!
However, I do not recommend VS bras. They are not good quality and fit poorly. The best bra I have ever bought was a Gossard Bra (wearing the Superboost Lace Plunge Bra in Black). They carry 32A - 42G and are the most comfortable thing on the planet!
I do sell them at my shop but am not receiving any money from that company or otherwise to say this.

Mr. John
If the subject of bras should happen to come up at a bar, I can already imagine guys using this as a pick-up line.
Trust me, I'm a "professional".
