It's darker. The hair on my head is light/medium brown, while my pubic hair looks almost black.

I have dark brown/auburn hair, black body hair, and light auburn pubic hair. It's a little weird, and I feel kind of like a tri-color hound.

My head hair color is roughly black most of the time, and since it's so dark, it's always matched my pubic hair, which is black.
