Hair around your nipples?

Contributor: ellieprobable ellieprobable
When I get it, I just shave it while I'm shaving my arm pits. It is a myth that more grows if you shave it.

I have a few long, dark, coarse hairs around my nipples. What's up with that? I shave them off when I remember to in the shower.

Just leave it alone, unless it really bothers you!

Yes, but I don't remove it. It's only peach fuzz!

I don't have hair around my nipple, and I have no clue what the best way to remove them is.

It's actually not. Lip hair hurts like hell to tweeze but nipple hair doesn't actually hurt, at least it doesn't for me. I just pluck them. It's so easy to just tweeze.

I tweeze the few darker ones that come up. But if I'm in a hurry, I'll carefully shave them off.

I get a couple hairs every now and then, but I just tweeze em off.

I have some light peach fuzz, and a few longer, darker hairs here and there. I just shave it off using one of those little pen-shaped razors.

It could be because I don't tweeze anything else and so I'm not used to it, but the few times I attempted to pluck my nipple hairs it hurt quite a bit.

Occasionally I'll get a hair or two. I just pluck them as they pop up

I've got a few dark course hairs that pop up on my boobs, and I usually shave them off in the shower. Sometimes I'll tweeze, but generally that just hurts too much!

I have a few long, dark hairs around the perimeter of my areolae. Now and then when they annoy me I'll pluck them but (even more TMI) not too often, because if there's anything worse than boob hair it's INGROWN boob hair.

A bit of hair can be normal but I just want to remind everyone that unusual or extra body hair in women can be an indicator for Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). You may want to look it up to make sure you don't match any other symptoms and see a doctor if you do, just to be on the safe side!

I don't but maybe wax? Im sure it would not feel too good but it might even slow the growth and provide the best & longest lasting results

Usually tweeze it

Is it safe to have it removed through electrolysis?

I've heard of people doing electrolysis for it, but that could get really expensive. Plus, I'd be nervous to get anything done like that around my breasts. I think the best bet is really just to ignore the hairs- as difficult as that may be. Damaging your skin by trying to pick or pluck them out (especially if they get ingrown) is gonna make them look much worse in the long run.

I had one hair that would grow right after I had my little one. The Dr. told me it was due to hormone shifts. I had to pluck it for 2 straight years about once per week. XD

Because I only have a few stray dark hairs I just tweeze them every few weeks or so. It really isn't that bad to deal with.

I have one on my right boob and, like, four on the left. They just started growing about two years ago. I just take a pair of scissors and cut each one when it grows long enough, or I know I'm going to get laid.

I only get about two or three short hairs around each, so i just shave them off regularly in the shower.

I don't grow them, but I think it's cute. Why you no like? Really though, if you want them gone your best bet is plucking, unless you don't mind a razor near your nips.
