Should Eden Carry Menstrual Cups?
10/17/2012
I think it would make a lot of people happy, but I don't see that being a direction that Eden would go in. Yes, they do sell lip balm, shampoo, shaving cream, etc. but those are also items that enhance our appearance and smell which also helps with sex appeal. A menstral cup isn't something that would help with sex appeal, so I don't see it being something Eden would decide to carry.

I totally agree. I would love it if they carried them and other women's health type of things.

I say yes. A lot of people are saying that it's not Eden's "thing"... but we're able to purchase lip balm, hand lotion, shaving cream, and makeup here, how wouldn't a menstrual cup fit in? I can get all those things at the drugstore as well, but why shouldn't I be able to get them here also? I would be very happy if Eden carried menstrual cups; I've never tried any and would rather save up some points to try them out before dropping my hard earned cash on something I don't know if I'd like. So yes, I think menstrual cups would be a perfect thing for Eden to sell.
Also, I've seen a lot of ads promoting menstrual cups as a way to enjoy less messy (or not messy at all) sex during your period. Uhm, HELLO, I think that's something that would be more Eden's "thing" than hand cream and bubble bath because it's always tossed around that orgasm during menstruation helps alleviate cramps. less

I'm not sure.

Although I don't use them, I think it would be a cool thing for Eden to offer. I think it would fit in with the site, as sexual health is an important part of one's sexuality.

It would be nice if they had an entire women's health section for such items. They already have sexual health items, make-up, and bath items...so, why not?

I think the best argument, going in the direction of sex, would be that some couples are able to engage in cunnilingus using menstrual cups and not even notice that they're there, and that disposable menstrual cups allow for "clean" sexual intercourse.

I don't think it's nessasary.

I said other cause I dont have to worry about it anymore but I just dont see them carrying something like that. Like stated before, that is a different catagory of product.

I've never heard of a menstrual cup :O I learned something today

There's a local sex shop here that sells the Diva cup (which I bought from there) so I don't see why they can't be sold here as well.

Reusable cups, for obvious reasons, don't generate repeat sales the way tampons and pads do. So many pharmacies don't carry anything reusable, since every customer that switches over will be a customer that doesn't buy disposable menstrual items month after month. Which, of course, means that many of us have to buy online.

I personally don't mind too much, but it would have been nice to have been able to just trot a few blocks away to the drugstore when I decided to switch over. I've been to a lot of pharmacies here in Philly, and I don't even think I've ever even spotted disposable cups anywhere.

AHLALALALALALA I don't wanna hear nothing about periods.

Sure! If I ever decided to switch, it'd be great to use points on them - they're really pricy.

i dont use them so no for me, buttttt they should carry shoes already!
10/26/2012
Don't see why not—it would definitely be a good way to promote an alternative to disposable products.
10/26/2012
that would be so cool.
10/27/2012
Yes. I'd buy one for myself and all my friends. They carry condoms and other non-specifically toy products so why not? Expanding their product lines might not be such a bad idea.

There is actually a cup that you can wear during intercourse- the instead/softcup (which comes in a reusable form) is marketed as wearable during sex and a lot of people have success with them!

Keep in mind that reusable menstrual cups can't be worn during intercourse. Some disposable ones, however, can, and I've heard that some couples are okay with non-penetrative activities while wearing the reusable kind

Indeed, I just learned about the reusable Softcups not too long ago (though I personally still think of them more as disposable, since they're only meant for one cycle). The Instead Softcups can be worn during sex, but the long-term menstrual cups are shaped differently and worn lower down in the vaginal canal, so it'd be tough to fit a penis/dildo in there alongside it (I've heard some couples can manage it, but I can't imagine how).

I don't think so.

Yes! Please carry these!

It would be awesome if they did, Im just not sure how many would actually order it here.
