Crying during sex?
08/30/2011
I have never cried during or after sex.

I've never cried, but I am curious about it happening organically. What would trigger it, how would I feel, and so on. So curious.

I've cried a lot during sex, particularly during my first few years with my current guy. It didn't seem to be attached to a particular thought or emotion that I could tell. I had learned about "muscle memory" in massage school and just figured that maybe I was releasing some sort of past trauma when we had intercourse. He was okay letting me cry it out (once he understood that he wasn't hurting me), and now it rarely happens.

I have cried both during and after. Certainly has to do with an outpour of emotion.
09/01/2011
Yes. It's weirdly uncontrollable, and always an overwhelming feeling of love.

I used to do it when I was around 21. It started to really bother my pertner at the time and almost destroyed our sex life - which in hindsight I do understand. It was around the time I was diagnosed as having endometriosis, not sure if it was in anyway related. but it certainly did feel like a rush of hormoanes making me burst into tears (not just a few tears, rather I cried ike a baby)
Im just glad it hasnt happened for a very long time!

Me and my husband have both cried during and after sex. Not neccessarily because of pain or sadness or being overjoyed. But we are very open especially with each other emotionally. We've also laughed histarically before, during and after. And everything in between.

The first time I had a really good g-spot orgasm from my girlfriend, I cried during and after the sex. The range of emotions it brought on were great. It was amazing and for a while she was worried that she'd hurt me or that it wasn't good. But I assured her it was because it felt so amazing.
She's gotten a little teary-eyed before, but hasn't actually cried yet. Her getting the pleasure is still kind of new since she was always the one to give and not receive because she never wanted to, felt comfortable with it, and didn't want to get attached to anyone.

Nope, never happened to me... I imagine my partners would get very worried if I did, considering I'm usually laughing before, during and after sex... guess the intense emotions and sensations affect us all differently? ^^U

Yeah two or three times! mostly after g-spot or close to g-spot ones. She just holds me until I'm done. One time I just couldn't stop crying though, for like ten minutes.. she was wonderful though and never once was upset or discouraged by it.

The first time I ever cried during sex was with my husband. He has been the only man to hit my G-spot enough to make me do that. I was so embarrassed, but he loves it so much, he tries to get me to do it all that time just to watch me cry. lol

Can I steal that? I like the phrase 'ravishment play' (and don't have enough excuses to use RAVISH! in my daily life.)

I have also cried at times when I can't come. It's so frustrating, that I need some kind of release, and crying is better than not doing anything. My Man usually holds me and then says, "You're OK. We'll try again later."
We also sometimes engage in Ravishment Play. I refuse to call them "rape" fantasies because no woman wants to be raped. Ravishment is the outward manifestation of a fantasy where someone wants to feel like they aren't in control, but in reality are in complete control. I wish more people would use the word "Ravishment Play" rather than "rape" because Ravishment is different than rape and rape brings up SO many bad images, memories and feelings for so many. My husband would NEVER rape me, but we do play with Ravishment. It works for us, but I have never cried from it. Mainly, I think because I've worked through any issues about any past traumas. less

A few times I'm so emotionally moved and deeply touched spiritually after sex, and I cried when that happened.

Its just like a burst of energy and emotion.
When it first happened, I immediately went to do research on the subject. Apparently, its quite normal. That said, its not something I usually talk about with friends.
In an article I read recently, a woman presented several questions concerning the subject and now I'm curious what you think. Have you ever cried after or during sex? How did your partner handle it? less

The only time I cried during sex it was because I was upset; I was having sex with the wrong person. Thankfully, the person I was having sex with was kind, and stopped immediately, cuddled me until the tears stopped, and took a shower with me.

This has only happened once. The combination of alcohol and horniness sort of opened some emotional channel where my brain was telling me I had to process negative feelings about my personal life right then and there.
We had a talk and then we fucked. It wasn't a bad experience.

I've never cried during or after sex. It's an interesting thing to read about, though. From what I've seen, it's fairly common.
04/04/2012
Nope, can't say that's happened to me.
04/05/2012
Hasn't happened to me so far.

As a submissive who enjoys pain, I have cried during and after sex.

The only time I legit CRIED after sex was during a big extended awful breakup, the sex was emotional, I was so sexually frustrated I wanted to scream until my throat bled, I had no emotional stability, and when we had sex it was so unsatisfying and awful, I just couldn't hold back at all. It was horrible.
Otherwise, I haven't had very very strong emotional reactions to sex. Certainly not to orgasms, since I need clitoral stimulation to orgasm and so far have had only two orgasms with a partner, ever.
The second time I had a sort of reaction was quite recently, actually from a serious session of fingering with a brand new partner. This was a play partner and not someone I'm romantically involved with, so it was a tiny bit weird anyway, and I finally felt RELIEF after more than a year of sexual frustration. I did have to hold back tears afterwards, but it was a positive feeling nonetheless. Just overwhelmed!

This literally just happened to me. It's only happened to me 3 times before and I think it has something to do with having a real connection with the person you're having sex with. That's just my personal view though.
