If there were any sponsored events close I would do that, but I live in a very small town and teh events are usually placed in a larger town a few hours away. I do buy products though, and my mother-in-law donates to locks of love.

I have always wanted to donate to locks of love! Silly Jaimes and her short, dyed hair. Kudos to you and your mom-in-law!

I mailed them my hair the last time I cut it. I had a total of 31" for them. They do not mind dyed hair anymore actually. I have done it twice both times sending them roughly 30" each time. I have yet to get my hair grown out enough to do it again. That is the whole reason I grow my hair out.You get a nice thank you card in the mail.

I'm growing my hair out as much as possible and then I will be donating to locks of love. But right now I do something else equally important. I vocalize!

Thanks Beck! I didn't know that!

I've donated my hair once, I haven't been able to grow it out enough to donate it again since though.

Ahh, so I can't donate currently because my hair is bleached, but if I use a dye without bleach I can donate it. That's awesome!

Yep! When I sent my hair in I did put a note inside to let them know that I had dyed my hair. That way they would know. Since perhaps they use dyed hair differently. Or in case someone is allergic to the hair dye then they would know not to give them my hair.

We lost our best friend to breast cancer two years ago. This is a very important cause for us and we do everything we can to show our support!

I grow my hair out and chop it short every couple of years to donate. I do miss dying my hair fun colors, but donating is far more important to me

I've done a couple walks in the past, and I like to get pink things for my cousin who runs a group that raises funds and awareness. Made a BCA ribbon shirt for her a few weeks ago. It was a pink shirt that I laid a cardboard ribbon on and splattered black fabric paint around. I also donate in her group's name.

I usually donate whenever my friends do walks for breast cancer if I can't be in the walk myself

I have a couple charms for bracelets and necklaces that have the pink ribbon, I usually wear them during breast cancer awareness month, but the proceeds of me buying the charms also went to breast cancer. I want a ribbon for my car also.. but I haven't picked one up yet.

I have donated to locks of love.

I buy breast cancer items when I can, and I did Run for the Cure this year. Just a few months ago, my aunt was diagnosed, and after a double mastectomy, they found out that the cancer had metastasized to her spine. We only have a few years left with her, so I do all I can to support.

The joy of teaching Biology for science majors...I get to encourage them to think about different career paths--including cancer and medical genetics research. ^_^

A local tattoo artist in my area for the month of october was offering free pink ribbon tattoos as long as you donated to the breast cancer foundation. I totally got one on my right lower back and am going to put "save the tatas" next to it. I donated my hair twice to locks of love. I am a nurse and have had many many patients that have either suffered from cancer and survived or were currently battling cancer. If I can do something to help I certainly will.

I stay away from SGK, but I do lots of volunteer work for all manner of charities. Breast cancer charities are just one of the many!

So far just purchasing items that donate proceeds or donating to Locks of Love, etc.

It depends on what is available to me. Sometimes, when I have the money to do so, I will donate to a cause that is raising money for awareness, I wear the ribbons and try to do my best to participate in charity events
