I started a new pill today because I need something that can combat my acne and give me a good backup "protection" wise. I am kind of nervous because the only other time that I've started a new pill it was horrible. My period was 8 days long and super heavy. And I felt really sick every day. It was awful. Do you ever start new pills and what was your experience like?
Birth Control and your experiences?

I've never been on the birth control pill, but I have been on the depo shot for several years. I found that it took my body a bit to adjust! I was fine at first, but started spotting for about two months!! It ended up being fine, but I did consider getting off of it because of it. No problems after that though!!

I once was taking this high in estrogen Birth control it made me so sick I ended up in the hospital due to dehydration I didn't know it was the pill that was making me throw up every 30-45 minutes for 3 days straight.
I took the mini pill and got pregnant.
I've been on Depo Provera before and just started again, I get spotting that slowly tapers off.

I am not on any birth control the pills raise my blood pressure way high. When I was on them when I would start a new pill I would get nauseated and all that. My periods were normal for the most part. If you are having major issues with the side effects contact your doctor.
