Attempted G-spot stimulation and discomfort?

So I'm pretty new to toys (and I'm also a virgin). Earlier when I was playing with the Radien Gems g-spot toy, at first it felt good, but then I think I may have gotten too into it, because it started to hurt a little bit. I don't know what I was hitting, but it felt more like I was hitting...a rectal wall or something. The toy is I think 7 1/2 inches. I managed about 3-5inches in. I'm not too sure about my physiology, so I don't know if that's possible or not. But it was wherever the head of the toy was hitting was becoming painful. I don't know if it was the angle or what. I was pretty much on my back, but I had some cushion behind me. Can anyone share some insight as to what it was I did wrong? The pain went away rather quickly, too after about 5-15 minutes...

I suggest maybe trying again, being gentle and slowly working up to it. Maybe even lay in a different position. Is this the first time you've used a toy/had anything inside of your body?

I've had days where my body just wont accept a toy but can usually be coaxed into it after a bit though it may be painful for some. If the toy had gotten deeper I'd say maybe you hit your cervix, but unless your vagina is really shallow that's probably not it either.

Like I said, it may just be natural, random resistance. Try again a few times and if it keeps happening I'd maybe go see a gyno just to make sure every things okay.

I personally find 'intense' g-spot stimulation a bit painful, especially when it's fairly pointy. I say try a few more times and see, but it may just be a bad shape for your body.

Do you think you might have been hitting your cervix ?

The vagina is rather 'stretchy', and if you're not super-aroused (so that you essentially lengthen/open up in there), you might not be able to take more than 3-5" without hitting your cervix - which is indeed painful !

I agree. Try again taking it slowly, and just be prepared to stop anything that hurts or feels bad.

No, it's not. I've used the Dick Head toy made by the same company and haven't had any problems with it. I haven't tried using the Radient Gems g-spot toy since I've hurt myself. They both are about the same size and I can get the Dick Head toy in and use it without any problems.

It wasn't pointy really, but it didn't have a phallic design either. I think you could be right. I'll have to try again and see. Assuming it is the shape, what would you recommend for a replacement?

I have the same problem... even with my partner using his fingers (and we both know where it is), it's just mostly unpleasant. I doubt I'll ever have a g spot orgasm.
