Arousal Creams/Ointments?

Contributor: Willow Wand Willow Wand
I have NO sex drive. NONE! I enjoy talking about sex, but to actually want it...nope! I am having my hormones tested in January, but for now, can you recommend an arousal cream or ointment. Do they even work? I WANT to want to have sex!

Arousal creams will not help lift your libido - or desire for sex. They mostly consist of compounds like l-arginine and menthol that stimulate blood flow to where they are applied. Think of an intimate Bengay.

Be careful not to use too much. They don't take effect immediately - kind of like Novocain at the dentist. Try a little and add a little more if you don't get the desired level of stimulation.

I would suggest masturbating regularly, seems that the more sex you have the more you want. Kind of the use-it or loose-it principal. Learning to consistently bring yourself to orgasm will help you understand how it works and help you guide your partner to the desired result.

Good luck...

I agree with Gunsmoke. However, it's been a while since you posted. I'm curious to see how you're faring?
