So this may sound strange to most people, but I'm allergic to vibrating stimuli such as wand massagers, motorcycles, jets in the spa, and sometimes even running. I get splotchy and start scratching like crazy. I mean tearing my skin off itchy. Is there anyone else out there who knows what it's like?
Anyone allergic to vibration?

And by the way, antihistamines help so I can't be crazy... I hope.

Oh man! Hey, it might be because the vibrations are so high pitched and buzzy because I get red and itchy on my... ahem... vulva when I'm using super strong, but high-pitched and buzzy vibrations! Nothing intense at all though. Just makes my skin itch. I don't think it's any allergy though.

You're not alone, it happens to me sometimes; the condition is called "Vibratory Urticaria".

No, I've never even heard or this or experienced it.

My sister cant do vibrations, she gets really bad head aches

Never heard of this before. I hope you can find something to help you with this.

I do this when running power tools....so I had to stop and improvise at work. I bought a panel saw to cover the skill saw part, etc....lighter vibrations do not bother me at all.

Wow, I have never heard of this.

I never heard of this. Sounds like a major pain in the butt though!

That sounds awful.

That's SO strange, I've never heard of that! That sucks! D:

Maybe it is something about the materials that the toy is made of, rather than the vibrations?

I've never really heard of this! Interesting. To be honest, I'd be really annoyed if I had the same problem.

That is so interesting (to me at least, sorry you have to deal with it). I had never heard about it until this site!

I get mild irritation if I apply too much pressure with a toy that has high pitched buzzing. Have you tried toys that are deeper and rumblier? I've found that lower pitched vibrations are much less irritating for me personally
