I noticed that right after my period ends the following week, it is impossible for me to get wet. No matter how aroused I am. I was wondering if anyone else notices this?

Are you using Tampons? I notice I'm dryer for a few days after using tampons for 4-6 days.

I don't have this problem, but I use a DivaCup. I was wondering the same thing Beck asked... could it maybe be a tampon issue?

i get dry spells all the time i spoke to my doctor and she says it can be caused by stress so if ur period stresses u out it could make sense id just invest in a good lube

Have you ever tried using a cup? I have the DivaCup. I like it. No dryness at all. I still do sometimes use tampons for convenience but then always end up regretting it later. There are sooo many brands of cups as well I know the Luna cup and Diva cup are good from experience. Check it out. Also... if you use a cotton panty liner that could be contributing. I like the thong liners from luna pads.

I have noticed it. I just use extra lube for sex. I have been thinking of seeing what all is in those ovules that KY sells for lubrication when you feel dry. I notice it more when I use tampons through most of my period.

As Beck said, tampons make the difference.

For a few days after my period ends I find I am dry.

One of the international stores got another line of OB in I don't know what it is in English but the rough translation is "Comfort Plus" it's like the tampon has some sort of mesh over top. I have found (well last month at least) that I wasn't as dry with these than with the regular OB's.

Anyone know of the OB line I am talking of?

I never really have dry spells... I do find it painful to have sex right before and right after my period.

I don't really have dry spells--there are definitely times when I get more wet, but it's not usually a problem.
