Hi ladies , About a month and a half ago I felt a knot on the lower part of my bikini line. About a week later it went away so I though maybe it was from shaving. Now again I have another hard knot in about the same spot and it is big enough to put two fingers on. It is tender. I'm not sure if it is from shaving or what . It doest feel or look like a shave bump. Have any of y'all ever had anything like this.?
Anyone ever had a hard knot?

Could just be a lymph node swelling up

I'm not an expert, but I've had something similar and it turned out to be a cyst. you might want to check with your Dr. though.

ugh I will go to the dr if it doesn't go away soon!

I had the same thing happen to me. It was completely benign, but I had to get a doctor to remove it because it bothered me.

nope. I'd go to the dr. asap but don't bother worrying yet

I might go to a doctor. Especially if it doesn't go away. But I don't think it's worth worrying about too much at this point. I haven't had this happen to me.

Did yours hurt or itch or anything or did it just bother you just knowing it was there? Mine is sensitive if I put two fingers on it and apply a little pressure.

Could be a Bartholin's cyst: link
I just had one of these, actually. It was on the left side of my vulva, and was the size of an olive. I got it checked out, and that's all it was. They're nothing to worry about unless they get really big and uncomfortable--then you would want to get it drained, but they usually go away on their own. My doctor told me that soaking in a warm bath usually helps, and it did; it was gone in a couple of days. They aren't cancerous or anything--just annoying.

Yup. Same spot and it was tender to touch. But it went away by itself after a week or so.

Sounds like a cyst, and, yeah, I've had one. Uncomfortable.

See your doctor. Recently I mentioned a pea sized bump to my doctor and she thought it was nothing to worry about, but to come back if it didn't improve.
Long story short I was getting it drained at a surgeon's office two days later.
