For the waterproof toys, I always chuck them in the sink and let the hot water run over them for a little while. Then I usually soap them up well and scrub it before rinsing, then soap it up and scrub it again. Two washes usually do it, but then I always inspect them to make sure I got everything squeaky clean.

I have certain toys that I know can be troublesome to clean (I'm looking at YOU Gold Laced G) so I take extra care on the nooks and crannies with those toys.

I'm not super obsessed. I mean, I clean it before and after each use, but I don't really stress about it. I generally get toys that are easy to clean.

I share your pain over cleaning toys with LOTS of textures, BUT we still love them no matter what!

We have dogs and cats so pet hair is EVERYWHERE. We take 5 minutes to clean one toy if we accidentally leave it out of the toy box.

Almost all of my insertable toys are only used on me so I am not to anal about it. A thirty second soak with Climax Burst toy cleaner and rinse with hot water is all I do. For the one or two that I use and share with the wife I do get a bit more thorough but since we have been fluid bonded for years I do not worry to much. Never had any issues yet.

All of my strokers/masturbators get the same treatment, even my Fleshlights.

I clean all my toys after use, then chuck them all in a bin to be bleached about once a month. I accidentally left my Classic Aluminum in bleach. Don't do that.

I said a once over - not strictly true, but I don't use toy cleaner on them anymore! I had a case of BV a little while ago that the docs and I chalked up to my toy cleaner, so I ditched anything not silicone/glass/ceramic /metal from the collection and just use really hot water now.

And condoms if I share.
