Condom use should be left up to the individuals, I prefer non.

We've seen them used and not used in porn and it doesn't phase us either way. I guess if I was younger and not in a monogamous relationship it might be a nice reminder to use them.

I would think this is an area for occupational health and safety regulation of the industry. I am not sure what regulation there is already to protect workers in different countries, but at very least there should be some regulations that require a condom be used or both the actors and actresses are tested and confirmed to be STI free if they wish to do the scene without one.
I do notice though from a good portion of the porn industry there are a remarkably low number of STIs reported. This may indicate these regulations already exist or that the industry has taken the initiative to regulate themselves.

I think that if either actor wants to use one it should be done, no questions asked.

I find it difficult to enjoy porn if I *don't* see condoms in use. I just can't get past "omg, what are you doing!" to enjoy the action. I think having all porn stars use them, all the time, could go a long way toward making them sexy and normative, thus increasing condom usage. Perhaps especially in countries and communities where health advocates are having difficulty convincing men it is "manly" to use a condom.

I think condom use should be mandatory because I think it would be too much effort to have to make sure both the man and the woman in the video want it and to deal with it if one of them didn't want to wear one.

Condoms for sex during porn should NOT be forced. Porno shoots take a LONG time, and the constant rubbing of a condom on the anus or the vagina can leave the areas sore, inflamed, and rubbed raw, which makes it even more likely that HIV or other diseases can be passed over, especially since pornstars don't just have on-set sex. They can have other sex, without condoms, and if their bits are irritated and raw from forced condom use, it's not good.

In regular sex, sure, it cuts down on the possibility of diseases spreading. But for porn workers, it actually ups it.

People use the pullout method in porno to prevent the spread of diseases, which is actually safer considering.

As to if I like seeing condoms in porn or not, I really don't. I'm all about the bareback and the cream pies; I can't really watch porn that does have condoms unless it's for fun and not masturbation.

I think condoms should be strongly recommended, but you can't force people to do things they don't want to do, so it should be left to the actor(s)/actress(es) to decide.

Condoms are an important part of safe sex practice. If the porn industry were to incorporate the use of them more often, I definitely think we'd see a rise in usage. And that's responsible, frankly. Condom use all boils down to the individual participants, of course, but the porn industry is where a lot of teenagers get their sex education (which is an issue in and of itself), and should demonstrate safer sex practices.

With that said, depicting condom usage in pornography doesn't turn me off or on. However, consent and responsibility is sexy as fuck, so I'm down to have every scene I watch include one star asking another if they have a condom.

Also, the porn industry has the power to make condoms sexy! We hear all of this stuff about how they take away sensations for both parties and, while that may be true, it discourages people from using them. If more porn showed condoms being used, people would start using them more. And if more porn showed their female stars applying a condom with their mouth? Damn, we'd have condom fetishes starting up!

Safety first, I think condom use in porn is a good thing. Promoting safe sex is never a bad thing, if some people aren't in to that they can watch something that doesn't involve condoms. I would assume that the stars of the film have been tested and everything is safe but you never know...
