Bavaria in south eastern Germany, on the Austrian boarder is beautiful in the spring. All the homes are like giant cu-koo clocks with flowers blooming in balcony planters. Also lots of things to see and do. Castles, mountains and friendly people.
Hawaii is beautiful, but I wouldn't spend the whole trip in Honolulu, I would hop a flight to Maui and rent a car and take the road to Hana. The black sand beaches are a must see. It really is spectacular.
Paris in the summer is amazing. Just to sit by the Eiffel tower and have an ice cream cone is a real treat. Plan ahead, you can eat dinner in the tower, if you reserve well in advance, and you get to skip the long lines to get up into the tower, the Louvre is open late on Friday and Wednesday so you can get right in with little to no wait line. Also, we had no trouble getting as close to the Mona Lisa as possible.. it was awesome. Boat tours on the Seine and shopping on Champs-Élysées and Saint-Michel. Traveling all over the city is so easy with the metro, you can really explore all that Paris has to offer.
I went to Prague and Boleslawiec, Poland this spring and had an great time, but it wasn't as awe inspiring as the places above.
