Would you ever consider getting either surgery? If not do you have any reasons why?

Never heard of RISUG but my husband and I have talked about him getting a vasectomy after we're done having kids.

I'll be afraid to do anything do there. Not much room to work with.

I suspect that Reversible inhibition of sperm under guidance (RISUG), would not have been available to me almost twenty years ago when I had a vasectomy done.

I had my vasectomy about a year and a half ago. It was the best $20 copay I've ever spent.
For the surgery itself I was in and out in about an 1 - 1 1/2 hours on a Friday and I was back at work (desk job)on Monday. As for pain it was similar to feeling like I pulled a groan muscle.

Vasectomy has been pretty good for me too. I noticed some slight pain during strong orgasms for several months after I could have sex again, but nothing now. It works for us.
