Penis Hurting After Intercourse

Contributor: David88 David88
So has anybody ever had their penis start hurting after intercourse? I'm not talking about the tip of it (I've had that before too and not fun) but the actual shaft. I'm wondering if it's because we've been having more sex lately and it's getting more of a workout. Just out of curiosity, does having your penis erect for long periods of time cause it become bigger at all over time?

Could it possibly be the positions you are in or not being lubed up enough?

No I know what you're talking about. It's not like it's on the surface it's actually like inside my penis not the surface of it like I get if there's not enough lubricant or something like that.

Do you have any joint problems at all? How is your health? These might be good things that might lead you to the answer of why this is happening. Becoming sore from too much use can happen too, though.

yeah, sounds like it could be a symptom of something else.

My other thought: maybe it's being torqued or something? Is it being forced out of straightness somehow?

I do have some joint pains. I just went to the Dr. and my cholesterol is a little high but overall I'm ok. Its not like it hurts for that long but say maybe for a few hours after sex.

Torqued? you're saying some how it's getting bent up or down? Is that what you mean? That's possible although it doesn't feel like it's getting pushed up or down while I'm having sex.

Mine used to occasionally when I was younger, even with masturbation. It was like a 'burning' type of symptom in my urethra. I actually paid cash and went to a urologist without a referral from M.D. (was a student at the time) and he looked inside my urethra (I guess for any fluid discharge) and said that 'it was nothing'. Since then I have had some kidney stones pass through, but this would happen with urination more than ejac. (along with other symptoms such as back pain, bloody urine, etc.) If this is happening after sex, sometimes condoms may irritate the urethra, or some lubricants can as well.

It is probably from the seminal fluids irritating your urethra. But I am not an M.D. so you probably see one to be cleared from STDs, urethritis, etc. Just another perspective to add to the above.

For me, the problem was occasional really and has not bothered me in the past 10 years or so.

good luck finding out!
