Since when did natural body hair strike people as "gross?" This is really artificial, (as in most societies, including our own, until recently, pubic hair is rarely messed with, and there is some evidence that it helps disperse pheromones etc when left in place) as not more than 15 years ago, nobody but strippers shaved and nobody thought the least of body hair.
I'm not dissing anybody who likes themselves to be hair free or to trim (I trim, and it's more for me than him. He couldn't care less.) but to say that people are "Gross" or "Dirty" because they have left the hair that nature gave them where it was put is a little dramatic.
People have a right to like what they like, I won't dispute that. But, as I have talked about before, there is nothing "clean" about a hairless pubic area. In fact, at least in women, the bacterial count is actually higher in totally shaved pubes. If you LIKE it, that's cool, but it ISN'T "cleaner." Is your head "filthy" because you have hair there? Is a man's beard or mustache "dirty" because it is made of hair? No. Same goes for pubes. If that's what you like, well, OK, but bringing "cleanliness" into the argument, and saying people with pubic hair are "dirty" is really disrespecting people who leave their bodies in a natural state, hair and all.
