Is it possible for men to get yeast infections too?
Can men get yeast infections?

Absolutely. I just joked to my husband that he should weigh in on this topic. For men, yeast infections usually occur "externally", on the testicles, around the perineum (area between the testicles and anus), and around the anus. It looks red and sometimes raised, shiny too - and according to my husband, it was miserable (it was also July): burning, itching, and just all-around sore. Prescription yeast infection cream (Nystatin) cleared it up in two weeks.

yes, babies get them all the time. In the folds of the skin. You see it more on the chunkier babies.

Yes. A friend of my husband's just had one--he got it from his wife. My husband was shocked and asked me about it, which luckily I knew a bit from materials I read at the Dr.'s office. I rarely get them and think I have only had 2--but my hubby thought it was a woman only issue.

Yes, of course they can. My husband has had yeast infections, most of them probably caught from me, as I tend to get a lot of them.
He had one a few months ago that was so bad he thought it was a urinary tract infection and I had to take him to the emergency clinic, as the Walgreens Take Care clinic doesn't treat men's UTIs! They told me "they are too complicated." As a nurse, I know this isn't true, but with a guy over 50 you have to include a prostate check along with checking the urine, and I think the Nurse Practitioner at the Walgreens didn't want to do it, or didn't know how. I've not seen a great deal of skill in a lot of the NPs that Walgreens hires to staff those clinics.
It turned out it wasn't a UTI, but a yeast infection that had actually invaded his urethra. I was not feeling well either, and didn't ask the doctor for an oral antifungal (he should have prescribed Diflucan (a strong oral antifungal) as my husband was having internal symptoms and not just surface symptoms) but it was really late, and he released my husband before I could ask him.
A couple of weeks of Tinactin worked, but Diflucan would have been faster.
When we both have them, we try to treat them at the same time, or we're just passing them back and forth.
