A clean fresh razor blade, and shave either during, or right after a nice hot shower.

Use plenty of shaving cream to help it glide and not catch on your skin.

The only time that I or My girlfriend shave our genital area in the shower. We use a shaveing gell stright from the department store and don't have any problems. As for after care so to speak we use Bikini Zone. It realy does the trick from chancing razor burn as well as keeping annoying ingrown hairs from showing up.
