My partner would like to have more anal play, yet he mentioned he would be more comfortable if he cleansed the area internally first. Have you tried any of these products to suggest one?

Sorry, I wish I could vote, but I've never used one before. I hope someone who has will actually comment about the differences for you.

I haven't. Frankly I don't see how they're better than a regular disposable enema that you can buy at a grocery store. I guess being washable/reusable is more economical in the long run for people that use a lot of enemas, but I would opt for the disposable version myself.

He actually mentioned using an enema followed by using this. So, BayosGirl, the enema alone would work? I'm simply unfamiliar with enemas other than a couple of memories from decades ago as a child.

You can use the disposable syringe that comes with the enema, but you should not use the enema solution itself. Commercially available enemas are designed for people with constipation issues. As such, the solutions are designed to draw fluids into the bowels to soften stools and promote a bowel movement. Many people will recommend simply using the disposable bottle out of convenience and filling it with warm water.

Any of your choices would work fine for a beginner. I recently reviewed the Ultra Douche link.

The only one I've used is the Colt, and I highly recommend it. Mine's lasted me over two years, and it is a precursor to any and all anal play - even if I'm just wearing a plug around for a little while. I even wrote-up a review on it.

My preference for cleaning the area out: fingers and a shower. Douches scare me.

I don't have the Colt, but did get something similar with the slimmer of the two nozzles. Went to the local pharmacy and picked one up. Cheap and works well for cleaning things out before anal play. Easy to use.

I've used both the Colt and the Ultra Douche.
Personally I prefer the Ultra Douche I find it more comfortable and easier to clean. But either one is a good option.

I personally don't use anal douches before anal play but if I had to choose one I'd go with the Colt
05/28/2012
iv never done this but i hear the colt is good

I've tried the Fetish Fantasy Elite and it was so-so. I'v eheard good things about the Colt. Its next on my list of things to try.

The Colt or the Ultra.

I went to riteaid and picked up an enema bag for around $10. It has a bag and a hose and can also be used as a hot water bag. It is similar to The Unisex Douche.

I would read about some stuff too. Enemas are not to be done too frequently and really with a healthy diet there shouldnt be any cleaning necessary.
08/22/2012
we have a shower enema setup and it is great. My wife and I use it and love it.
08/22/2012
I would just stick with the disposable one from the store.

We use the unisex douche. Just hook it to the shower head and gravity makes it work wonderfully, plus you can use as much or as little water as you need to without having to remove and refill.

The colt seems simple and easy to use. Not bad price either.
