Can't orgasm while wearing condom! Help!

Contributor: adirondacker adirondacker
Over the past few weeks I have been having a real hard time reaching climax while wearing condoms during vaginal sex. The sensation just isn't there but it feels the same??? I haven't changed my diet, started masturbating more, or had any traumatic experience. Not using a condom isn't an option at this point and up until the last few weeks it was never a problem. I have switched to different condoms but the difference is minimal (from trojan ultra thins to trojan ecstasys). I can still reach orgasm on my own, and during oral sex with out condoms. I think the problem is stemming from a lack of friction but I don't know what to do. My relationship is suffering because of this, my girlfriend feels like she can't please me and thats not the case. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Off the top of my head... I would say to try and cut back on masturbation, and also try to stay relaxed and not stress over it too much. You could also switch condoms, switch / or start using a lube, put lube inside the condom, increase the time you spend on foreplay. Good Luck!

Putting a little lube on the inside of the condom usually helps it stick better, and it can actually make it feel like there's nothing there if you're using a thinner condom.

If you're lacking friction, you may want to cut down on the amount of lubricant you use on the OUTSIDE of the condom, or if your girlfriend is getting extremely wet, you may want to explain the situation to her and politely ask her to dab with a towel. Uber-textured condoms also help add some "friction," although I don't know how well those would work for you.

My b/f finds Trojan condoms less sensitive then most. Also as others have said, a little lube on the inside of the condom should help.
As a bonus for your g/f, think how long you last using a condom!! Could be awesome!

Trojans have always given me that problem, I'd suggest considering changing to another brand. Best in my opinion is Crown. They're one of the thinnest I've used but have had the least breakage with.

On a side note, a coworker of mine noted something when we first got the Trojan Ecstasy's in, they kinda look like tampons x3

Totally right - try some lube in the condom and it can feel amazing. When my wife went off the pill, I tried this trick and it worked beautifully. Beforehand, I HATED condoms and found it difficult to come while wearing one.

I'm going to have my husband try that... We had to switch condoms because I seem to have a latex sensitivity. He isn't happy with the new brand because it doesn't feel as good. I'm going to have him put a small amount of lubricant inside. I hope that helps.

Can anyone tell me how much exactly? how much is a "small" amount," less than pea-sized? I can see that you wouldn't want too much or it would just slip off!

Well it seems that the consensus is lube in the condom. This fix seems too easy to be true but I really hope it makes the difference, it has been so frustrating lately. I won't have alone time for a bit with my girlfriend but the next time we get a chance I will try that out and let everyone know how it worked. Trust me if after a few tries it doesn't make a difference I will be back looking for more direction, just hope thats not the case!

Thanks for all the help!

Yeah, just think if you were going to coat a guy's penis for a REALLY quick handjob (less than a minute). You want the condom to stick to the skin.

I have been using lube inside the condom for about a week now and it has made a HUGE difference. I should have just been doing this all along because it feels so much better. Thanks for all the help, you guys saved me

I'm glad to see that things are working out better for you now! Hooray! =)

If you're still looking for a thinner condom, you might want to try crowns skinless skins. They've worked really well for us! =)

So glad it worked! And I second the skinless skin recommendation; unless your penis is significantly above average, they should work wonderfully. A lot of porn stars use them.
