I am not circumcised.
Are you circumsized or is your partner?
07/03/2011
Nope. Uncut
07/03/2011
My guy is not, and neither are our sons.
07/03/2011
I am and that's the reason that I DID NOT have that done to my son when he was born.
07/10/2011
My husband is circumsized. We do not have children.

wow... as a nurse who has seen more circumcisions than I can count, I would have to say that "inhumane and disgusting" may be a little harsh. I may not see a need for it, however, I would never go so far as to judge another parent's choices on circumcision...

Yes, both my husband and our son are circumcised.
07/10/2011
My guy isn't and I love it that way
07/10/2011
not me
07/10/2011
My partner is, but he wishes he wasn't. He doesn't want to circumcise his sons if he ever has any.
07/10/2011
He is and I'm glad. Personally I think circumcised penises look more attractive.

yes
08/10/2011
yes!

i watched a seminar online that i found a link to on a thread here on EF about circumcision. it stated the foreskin is akin in sensitivity to the clit of the female, and that by removing it you considerably decrease a male's sexual sensitivity.

many genitally altered males also have complications after surgery. i had a friend who at the age of 40 finally decided to do self-surgery (yIKES!) and rid himself of the extra loops of skin that were left on from a botched surgery. another friend has a loop at the base he can put a finger through. my boyfriend has what are kin to skin-colored mis-shapen moles around his foreskin scar -- leftover bits of his stolen foreskin.
some have it worse though, and have major damage from it. it's pretty fucked up that female genital cutting is so advocated against but the same for men is the norm here. nobody gives it a second thought.

My boyfriend is uncut and happy about it. I love his foreskin and think damaging a baby boy in such a way is cruel and wrong and blah blah that people probably don't care to hear. We will not circumcise our boys if we have any.

My partner is and if/when we have kids, if they're boys they'll get snipped in the same fashion he was. He's a jew so it will probably be done traditionally.

i am

Hubby is and wishes he was not, so our son is intact.

Hubby is. Will also do the same for any sons we have.

I like them any way you get it, but from my own experience, I prefer them uncircumsized.

My partner is not and I am very pleased with that. The head of his cock is way more sensitive than the circumcised fellows I have been with. I don't even like the idea of circumcision for a lot of reasons.
Firstly, You are causing your child unnecessary pain.
Second, if they mess up with that they really mess up, and mistakes are made more often than you believe.
Third, the child has no say in the matter, once it's gone and the damage of desensitization is done, it can't be undone.
Fourth, it isn't that difficult to clean.
Fifth, most people circumcise without being educated, or because they believe it is more work, or some other silly thing like they think it's ugly.
If you bathe your child properly and teach them to bathe themselves properly they will have no more problems than a circumcised man.
