There's already a poll asking "how old are you" (more than one actually), but unless I missed it (and I searched high and low), there's not one asking what year we Edenites were born...the longer Eden's around, the more the "age" poll(s) become(s) inaccurate. Year of birth doesn't change.

So...what year were you born? And, if you care to discuss, were you "born at the right time"? How do you feel the time of your birth has affected your life so far?

Born in 1981 - the year of MTV's debut (six days before mine) and the "official" discovery of the AIDS virus. Let's see what else...?

Reagan was shot, the first heart-lung transplant happened, first test-tube baby was born, the first De Lorean rolled off the production lines, and Lady Di and Prince Charles married.

And lest we forget the Iran-Contra scandal...

1981 was a tumultuous year. I guess my name fits.

I'm just kidding. I still feel like I'm in my 20's and this whole "you're in your 30's" thing still feels alien to me.

I was born in the 60s.

When I was a small child, the Vietnam war was on TV, hippies roamed the streets, Nixon resigned, and I remember waiting in gas lines with my dad.

I was in college when the Challenger exploded (saw in on MTV, back when they still played music videos). Like most of my peers, I was largely unmoved when the Berlin Wall fell. I also saw the news about Kurt Cobain on MTV, and that hit me pretty hard.

Most of my close friends have been raising families post 9/11, and we're all struggling to stay afloat in the wake of the housing market crash.

I think my life experiences have made me skeptical of pretty much everything!

I am a 1990 kid and guess what?? I WASN'T BORN IN A HOSPITAL! I was born at home... my mom didn't want to pay for a baby to be born lol she is one tough cookie. Everyone has always thought I was weird because I was born at home
