He is 8 years older, I dont think it has made an impact. I am 41 though so it may have if we had been younger.

I am quite a bit older...by 27 years. Our age difference does not affect us directly, but trying to integrate our prior social circles and family will be problematic, at best. We have discussed this and have agreed that we would basically start with new friends if our current ones could not handle our relationship and we have already started this process. We have not informed our families yet and that will be the most difficult and some family members may never be informed by us directly. It is a shame that this is such a problem for some people...

I am younger by 4 years. Our age gap definitely has an impact on us not because of maturity levels, but because of where we our in lives. I am just finishing graduate school and desperately trying to get a job whereas he is an actual grownup with a job and owns a house.

I am 12 years younger. For the most part is really makes no difference to us. I think a bigger factor is how healthy and lively you are. After all, I could just as easily find a woman 12 years younger than me who is a complete dud as opposed to finding somebody 12 years older who is full of life!

I've always dated girls older than me... range has been 3-5 years but last one was only a year difference. This new girl is 8 years older than me an yet for some reason she feels way younger than me an she truly trips me out.

My first husband was about a year younger then me. I didn't really see a huge affect on our relationship.
My current lover is just a few months older then I. I can see a difference now between how my first and current act age wise.

We are 2 months apart. Thus cannot really say. However, from our past relationships both of us would say that a wide age gap does potentially effect a relationship long term due to differences in life experiences.

I'm 3 years younger than my old guy lol. I always tell him he's an old man! Lol. We go great together. Normally, I wouldn't have luck with a guy so close in age. A guy who's 20 might as well me 10, most of them though. Some men like mine are very mature for their age, but of course have those childish moments. Who doesn't? Anyways, I prefer him being older though. I've never dated younger or even the same age as me and I never would!
