I have a weird relationship w/ my ex. We get along great (better than when we were married) but I think of him more as a brother now. We have a son together, so I think it's important to get along. The weird part for some people is that I became best friends with his soon to be ex (his third wife).
Do you get along with your ex husband/wife? Do you get along with their SO?

I have been seperated/divorced for 2 years and we have 2 children together. We get along pretty well, enough for small talk when we get along. I think it is so important for the children at this point, so it is a good thing.

I don't have children with my ex-husband (the marriage was celibate), so I don't need to really keep in touch with him. We still have stuff in storage in another state, once one of us (ie: me) gets enough money together to drive up and get it, so I only keep his email and phone number for that reason. We pretty much ignore each other's existence.
Although if he found another woman, I hope she has enough sense to realize that 44-year-old men should not have the emotional maturity of a 12-year-old, and that he will blame her for not being able to get it up because she's the one getting worked up about a "genital sneeze".

We do not see each other or talk and have not since a year after the divorce. Communication was via a note or his mom.
