Have you tried putting a small towel or washcloth or even just your underwear between you and the Hitachi ball? Try putting it on your clit, or around and NEAR your clit, with some fabric between you and the device, for a few seconds, then take it off, relax, put it on again, with the fabric in place. Keep doing this manner and you may find you really like it.

My partner got a Fairy massager, so not the same thing, but I think it's about as big as a Hitachi and that was definitely intimidating at first. After I got over that, we found out we both love it!

I love the Hitachi, but it is VERY strong. A little too strong, but it does the job, and it does it quick! I have to use a blanket in between, but perhaps I am very sensitive. I think some people can use it straight on - for me, that was too much, and not in a pleasant way.

I didn't post simply because I don't fit into a particular option, ha ha.

I'd love to try the Hitachi or any massager type in the future, but I don't think my body could handle it at the given moment, lol. Sometimes I need the strong vibrations, other days, with enough build up, even the lowest vibrations can get me off. Usually, strong vibrations even on a corded egg vibe will leave me numb or start to ache, so, I can only imagine what that must be like with the Hitachi.
