So I just bought my first ever vibrator - "First Time: Power Vibe" and I got really excited and opened it up and used it. AFTER I was done I was looking over the packaging and noticed that it said "for external use only" and now I'm really worried that I've done something bad to myself. Has anyone ever done this? Should I be worried?

I may be wrong here, but I always heard that warning was in place - along with "for novelty use only" - due to vibrators and other sex toys being illegal in some states. Sort of a loophole to get around it so the product can still be sold there.
I don't think you need to worry about having done something bad to yourself by using that particular product.

Based on that, I'd think you're probably fine. It's a 7 on EF's safety scale and the review posted on it seems to have used it without issue. Those kinds of warnings are always alarming though. As long as you didn't experience any uncomfortable sensations, burning, etc. I'd think you're fine.

Almost all adult novelties have that warning or some kind of warning on them instructing you not to use it for medical purposes or for external use only. It's just a CYA-move on the manufacturer's part.

This. Almost all of them say that in one form or another just to protect themselves. No worries, you used it exactly as it was intended!

And if the OP has genuine concerns, I'm not trying to be dismissive, they can use a condom over the toy.

Just check the materials, and if they are materials used in other insertable vibrators then you should be fine. i wouldn't be too worried
