Why do almost all of the rabbit vibes have faces?

It's rather creepy, does anyone actually enjoy this? I don't want to shove a face inside of me that isn't attached to a lover. =C

If I recall correctly, in Japan they couldn't sell realistic phallic objects so they started slapping faces on sex toys, and it just became a tradition.

Gah, I hope this 'tradition' phases out soon. I refuse to get a vibe that has a face on the cock head.

The trouble is, a lot of rabbit vibes even today are still made in Japan, and it's still illegal to make a realistic sex toy there, so they have to keep using the face to get around the law.

But more and more rabbit vibes are being made without them, so I wouldn't say it's "almost all" anymore, especially for rabbits not made in Japan, or without a phallic shape. Faces don't usually bug me, so I don't worry about it most of the time.

There are TONS without faces.

I was actually starting to make "Abstract Vibe + Type" lists last night, and I had a lot on my Abstract Rabbits list.

Maybe I'll have a go at it again.

Just look at CalEx's offerings instead of Vibratex, and you should be able to find lots. I think it's mostly the Vibratex ones with faces, at least to my memory.

No! I hate that and find it creepy. I stick to the non-animal mostly, but my fav is Flutter by Evolved which is a butterfly, but it's not bad at all and no faces! Lol. Also, Doc Johson's Cliterrific Cup has no animal features or anything. Sugar by Evolved and many other evolved's rabbit styles are animal free, but don't have the pearls or realistic penis thing going on. I LOVE them!

I think, specifically, to creep me out.

Or you could go with something like VR6 or Lelo Ina. Or FunFactory Tiger.

It is a bit creepy I agree, maybe it's just that it isn't "natural"

If the faces are pretty simple they don't bother me too much. But if there's too much detail or some wacky expression it creeps me out. I prefer more abstract looking rabbit vibes that's for sure!

lol I just don't pay attention to them, it's not like I look at it and name it and say, "now you go punch my cervix!" LOL

They creep me out a little, too. As do the more pronounced animal shapes. I've kept bunnies as pets, and I'm a liiiiitle creeped out to use one as a vibrator. But usually, if the toy works well I can get over it.
