I'm having the same exact issue! I think I'm going to wait for reviews, but at the moment I'm leaning towards the G-Ki because it's awesome that it's adjustable.

I've heard about issues with the G-Ki's adjustment points and that made me a little iffy on it. I'm leaning toward thinking that simpler might be better - fewer things to possibly go wrong.

I've heard people say that the Uma isn't particularly innovative, but I feel that it hits the same mark as the MiMi - a good first toy kind of toy - something simple, visually appealing, reliable, powerful (hopefully), and a good price-point (less than Form 6, Jopen's similar ones).

I use my G-Ki curved all the way around. Uma wouldn't do it for me.

Not sure about Uma, but we felt G-Ki is just ok, vibrations are a bit weak and in the wrong spots

Uma. Without question. The G-ki has me sort of questioning and frowning at the "joints" concept ... because it makes me think of the old Barbie Dolls, and how the joints under their plastic/rubber skin (knees) would fail and discolor all the time (sorry, but it's true, and yes, I'm showing my age!). I just worry about something like this that has movable parts. To me, it just seems like a disaster waiting to happen. How long before it breaks down? How many times can you move it before the joints become loose? How long can it handle repeated pressure before the joints begin to weaken significantly? Because for that price, it had better last a looooong time! I truly am curious. Personally, I would likely be compelled to want both, so I would REALLY love to hear an honest comparison by someone who has seen/used both.
