I think it really depends on what exactly you're looking to get out of a piece. I would get the Wing because it would suit my solo needs best.

The Axis because I have a Hitachi OR the Bon Bon because I would need something to use solo. I've actually had my eye on the Bon Bon for awhile but USPS won't ship it to Canada yet. When they do I am definitely getting it!

I have all of these except for the Bonbon. I think the wing is the most versatile of the rest.

Pulse is great for solo play.

I have the Pulse, and I mostly use it as a footrest, because it refuses to work as intended on my memory foam mattress. I should have gone with the BonBon. On a normal mattress, though, I suspect it works great.
