High quality (like Njoy) stainless steel must be the absolute safest - it can't break (like glass) and it's near impossible to nick it or have areas where bacteria can thrive (silicone). If properly cared for is silicone is obviously a great choice - just not the absolute safest as the question is asked.

silicon, steel, and glass are all about the same grade, I thought. I stay away from jelly and weird mystery materials
