We-Vibe salsa and tango silicone or plastic?

I am confused. i was all ready o buya we-vibe tango until i read vbthat it is made of plastic. then i hopped on over to a canadian website and was told that its the same silicone as the other we-vibe products. it certainly looks like the same material

The reviews seem to agree that they're plastic.

I have both of these toys and they are both made of plastic. I wasn't into plastic until I seen one of them in action in a store and I was sold. It's easier to clean than silicone which is a plus. It glides nicely on the body. For the strength and functions it's worth it and I got over hating plastic real quick! The We-Vibe touch is silicone so you may want to check it out. I own the We-Vibe II and I plan to buy the touch at some point though I did get to hold each one in the store and the silicone makes the vibrations slightly less intense than the Tango and Salsa but it's still a nice powerful toy and they are all rechargeable, can't beat that!

I have them both too. The body of the toys is plastic. But before you reject them for this reason you should know Tango is my strongest rechargable clit vibe! And I have good ones; Mimi, Life, form 2, Spring from fun factory, as well as Tango and Salsa. Tango and Salsa both have silicone on the bottom covering the control and that is why you can't use silicone lube with them.

From everything i have reviewed, it's hard plastic. That is the weak point of this vibe

I have Salsa and it is the storngest one I own. I don't get why people don't like plastic. It is really comfortable on the skin and glides easy without lube. I personally find silicone to be grabby and annoying.

I agree- bought both the touch and tango and though they are totally different i love them both. i thought the difference was going to just be shape but no- they are totally different toys

Eh, the only bummer with plastic is that you can't boil it - which you can't do with any motorized toy anyway. ABS plastic is non-porous, so this toy is really about as safe as it would be if it were silicone.

Unless you mean as far as the way it feels, which is a personal preference matter. To which I say, "Whatever floats thine boat upon the waters!"
