Vibrators Post-Partum

I am nine weeks post-partum and received the ok from my ob/gyn at six weeks to resume sexual intercourse. My husband purchased a vibrator for us to use for the first time. Each time we have used it I resume bleeding the following day. I'm not certain whether it's just erratic post-partum bleeding or resulting from use of the vibrator. Has anyone had a similar experience?

I got my friends a vibrator from here when she was given the go ahead. It only had a diameter of about 1 1/4" and a slight curve. She did not bleed. I would get checked out.

Another friend I just asked, didn't bleed after six weeks either.

With just about anything it's better to go see a doctor if you're not sure. It could be blood that hasn't made its way down yet and is aided along by orgasming. I know that sometimes after my periods are over I'll get a little extra blood sometimes after orgasming. But it's never really been fresh bright blood. I'm in the "go ahead and call the doctor" camp. At the very least you'll get a better idea of whether or not to come in.

If it's a lot of blood, I'd call the doctor. If it's just a bit of spotting, I wouldn't worry much. But then again, I've never had children so I don't have any personal experience with it.
