Vibrator advice!!!

Contributor: LucyPear LucyPear
HI guys!
I'm here again to ask you for some help.
My husband and I wanna try a vibrator for our foreplay . But, the problem is that I'm a little allergic on silicone.
Relying on ur experience, which one should I try to avoid that itchy feeling?

If you are allergic to silicone, I assume you are more sensitive than most of us. Using non-silicone products like, jelly, rubber or latex would likely be worse due to the bacteria that they harbor.

There are a few glass vibrators out there. Glass is truly inert - so there should be no reaction - but I have no idea how well those vibrators work.

If you try one - let us know what your experience is

If you are looking for a clitoral vibrator, I strongly recommend Vita.

The end is hard plastic so no fear of silicone. There are several bullet style vibes and pocket rockets that are made from hard plastic and also designed to stimulate your clitoris.

If you are looking for an internal vibe, this one is hard plastic.

There is also the option of using a latex free (lambskin or polyurethane) condom to cover the shaft of any toy you choose, which I would recommend from a safety perspective of any toy that isn't silicone or glass anyway. Good luck!!

I have a friend who is also allergic to silicone. I agree that hard plastic would be your best option.

The safest choice besides silicone is glass or stainless steel. But I hardly can remember a wide selection of vibrators made of these materials.

I can add to the previous suggestions phthalates-free PVC (don't confuse it with just PVC). Phthalates-free PVC, as it follows from its name, doesn't contain hazardous phthalates and can be an alternative option for you.

Despite what materials you choose, before you use it as intended, test it on the inner part of your forearm to see if any reaction could happen.
