Cherry, In what ways does it stop working fast? Do you mean that the battery dies quickly? Or that the machine itself is faulty? I've had this toy for over four years, only had to change the battery once, and it has remained clean, odorless, retained its color, vibrations are as strong as when I first purchased/used it, and it never malfunctioned on it. Although it's a very inexpensive toy, it has outlasted all others in pleasure and in worth! Go for it!

I had mine for at least a year before it stopped working. When it stopped working, there was rust under the twisting part of the cap, so I likely caused it to stop working by not being careful when washing it. This was a FABULOUS toy when I had it, and I would buy another if I needed another basic vibe. For $13, you can't really go wrong. Don't abuse it (drop it, get the cap or insides wet) and it should last quite a while.

Most vibrators stop working due to how they are stored and maintained. If you are getting rusting, be more careful when washing, if you store the vibrator with the batteries in it, and so not use it often, it will also drain the toy down. I have had my velvet touch for some time now, and I only needed to replace it because the plastic lid broke when it fell on a tile floor. That was totally my fault.

I love the one I have had it for only about a month but boy has it been put to work on my wife and i

I haven't heard about it stopping fast

I had one for about 2 1/2 years before I had to replace it due to something I did that wasn't the toy's fault (cracked the battery cap). I haven't seen many toys be as long lasting for the price.

Some people have had issues with it dying, but for the price, it lasts an insanely long time. I have two, and one's been okay for about 6 years now (and still works) and the other has lasted about a full year now (and still works).

Meh. As my review says, I don't really recommend it. I feel like there are much better ones that you can get for the same price or a little more expensive that are muuuuch better and feel great. This one felt like it didn't even stimulate me...like putting in a tampon or something.

Personally, I like it a lot. Mine has just started to act a little funny, but considering how much I've gotten out of it already... I do think it's a good deal for the price it's at. The key selling point for me is that it takes AA batteries, so I can use my rechargeable ones in it. Most vibes seem to take C batteries.

I like it lots! Have no complaints and know nothing about it having issues with stopping working.

I've had this vibe for multiple years and it has yet to cause me any major problems. The only issue I ever encountered was the power changing a little when I moved the toy due to the batteries moving inside. But that was an easy fix. Just put a little piece of electrical tape on the side of the battery and they fit nice and snug inside the toy. The tape also helps quiet the vibe a bit too. Plus, if you're like me and keep a bunch of batteries lying about, the tape helps you keep track of which ones you've been using so you know how much power they have left!
