I'm not mad at them as much as I'm banging my head against the wall in frustration about not liking it. This is the second time I've bought a "highly recommended" toy that folks love (the first was Ella) and been disappointed.
I'm going to use it again this week a few more times and then write a review on it. I think the problem is that bullets are a perfect size and shape for my clitoris and hood and the Mimi is not a great shape for either myself or my husband to use.
I will probably do the review once I've decided how I feel about it - and then turn around and sterilize it and sell it for what I paid ($55 - I got it at 30% off). It will be in the box with the charger, booklet, etc. - just as if it was brand new - only used a handful of times.

I've had things like this happen before; sometimes expensive things are awesome (my new Bandito, for one) and sometimes the cheaper version is just as good, if not better! Don't get mad at yourself for not liking something!

I'll be sure to read it. Be sure to include in your review a bit about your anatomy and how the toy wasn't a good fit, exactly (if you don't think it's too TMI). I think it's helpful to know a little bit about the people who think a toy is great (or not so great), so we can judge accordingly. I personally love the Mimi, but maybe for different reasons, as I don't like direct clitoral stimulation, but I do like a lot of pressure and vibration above and below the clit, through the clitoral hood.

Oh no, I'm sorry it didn't work out for you.

This is why I use it with the pointed tip with the buttons facing away from me. There's no wrong way to use it.

Once again - my thoughts on it could change later this weekend when I'm more ready to play.
But my initial reaction was "oh no....I did it again...bought a toy that I really wasn't all that sure about cause it has such great reviews".
My gut instinct had been saying "no" but I didn't listen to it -same way with the Ella (that my daughter loves but I don't care for that much - it is ok - but not great).
I think that noticing that maybe it isn't the right shape/size for the way I like stimulation is a great help to understanding myself.

I'm so sorry you didnt like it. I feel your pain though. You were so sweet and encouraging when I had my buyer's remorse after the cone. I think its good to share our sucesses and dissapointments though. Since we are all so different we are bound to like different things. I love my mimi. It does feel better with a little lube if you are not already aroused when you begin. If you know you like deep rumbly vibrations like Mimi, but are looking for for a different shape and rechargable I would suggest the wevibe tango. I spent some time the other night using them both at the same time after being prompted by a poll over which one is better and I think tango is definitely stronger. I do find the charge doesn't last as long as i would often like though. I think we are about the same age and things don't always happen as fast as they used to. Get a hitachi if you don't have one. That always works as long as discretion isn't a factor.

If it's any consolation to you, I don't like the Pure Wand or the Eroscillator. Probably everyone, if they buy enough toys, will have purchases of popular items that didn't work for them.

I'm a very practical person, why bother wasting money on a CLIT VIBRATOR, when you can get the job done with the head of your vibes? I only buy what works for ME, it doesn't matter how great the reviews make it sound, or that it's the most popular item in a comparison poll. To me buying toys is a process of finding the right fit. I have toys I love, toys I like, toys I rarely use, and toys I used only 1 or twice.
I'd suggest give your Mimi and try or 2, then try to sell it on Eden Classified. You can definitely sterilize it and sell it to someone else. I imagine with such a popular toy, if you are willing to sell it for a little cheaper, someone will buy it. Again, it's not worth getting frustrated over. Everyone have different anatomy and need different things.
Vibrator shopping is almost like clothes shopping, except there isn't a fitting room. Eden does have a great return policy, if it's still within 60 days, you can take advantage of that as well.

So, this is our experience with a toy and certainly not an endorsement or suggestion of how someone should spend hard earned money. However, I believe these postings can be helpful with generating new idea's and avenues for some. Coming from a person who has an armoire full of unused expensive toys, "Let the buyer beware" or "Caveat emptor".
I will continue reading reviews and postings regarding others experiences with toys. Based upon much of this information, I will continue to buy and experiment. I suppose I'm in search of the Holy Grail. It may not be obtainable, but the journey is worth it to me.
